PUMPKIN OATMEAL WITH PURPOSE

My cell phone fell in my oatmeal yesterday morning. I was trying to take a picture at the right angle, when I got a little too close and my phone slipped right in. Ooopsey. It made me think of you. I hope your cell phone falls in your oatmeal. Metaphorically of course.

I hope you take notice of silly little interests. Things that come so naturally, time outruns gravity when you’re doing it. You sneak just to steal moments from work to do it. It’s most likely the activity that makes you late for appointments, you do in your underwear in the mornings, and what your friends know you for.

Ahhhh. Finding riches in what was there all along tastes good doesn’t it?

Enjoy this super simple Pumpkin Oatmeal Recipe while you nourish your purpose on this planet.

1 Serving

1 C. Oatmeal
1/4 C. Pumpkin
1 C. Almond Milk
2 Tbls Protein Powder (Vanilla Chai is tha bomb.com)
Cinnamon

*Feel free to omit the cell phone

Microwave to your liking and enjoy your day!

I love you guys. You keep me inspired.

Rachael, I love pumpkin. I’m just finishing off a whole pie I bought. I love it for breakfast. Is the mile high whipped cream okay? Since I’m having it for breakfast it’s probably to celebrate the a new day! You need whipped cream right?? Oatmeal??? It sounds ok……………..next time maybe.

    Hi Rachel,

I’m really enjoying your blogs :)
Your oatmeal sounds great but I love a good crunch so I think I’ll add some chopped walnuts also.
The colder temps the last 2 weeks have definitely ushered in oatmeal mornings.
P.S. If you have time, I’d love to see you and maybe have you meet my granddaughters who officially moved into my Ruskin home last week. It’s so fun to have them close. Take care and keep writing! Mary
